La publicaciĂ³n del primer nĂºmero de la revista Orbita Mathematicae de Umalca (UniĂ³n MatemĂ¡tica de AmĂ©rica Latina y el Caribe) fue anunciada por Guillermo Cortiñas, acadĂ©mico de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y editor en jefe de la revista.

La revista es de libre acceso y se encuentra disponible para su descarga en formato digital desde el sitio web de MSP (Mathematical Science Publishers). MSP se encargarĂ¡ de la publicaciĂ³n de la revista Orbita Mathematicae, fruto de un acuerdo firmado durante el año 2022 por la presidenta de Umalca, prof. Liliana Forzani, y Alex Scorpan director ejecutivo de MSP, y que se hace hoy efectivo con este primer nĂºmero.

La publicaciĂ³n cuenta en esta ocasiĂ³n con los artĂ­culos Subspaces fixed by a nilpotent matrix, por Marvin Anas Hahn, Gabriele Nebe, Mima Stanojkovski y Bernd Sturmfels; Pinwheel solutions to Schrödinger systems por MĂ³nica Clapp y Angela Pistoia; Counting compatible indexing systems for $C_{p^n}$, por Michael A. Hill, Jiayun Meng y Nan Li; Games for the two membranes problem, por Alfredo Miranda y Julio D. Rossi.

El ComitĂ© editorial de la revista estĂ¡ compuesto por Guillermo Cortiñas (UBA, Argentina), editor en jefe, Helena Nussenzveig Lopes (UFRJ, Brasil) y Eduardo SantillĂ¡n Zeron (CINVESTAV, MĂ©xico). Cuenta ademĂ¡s con 27 editores asociados.

Acerca de MSP

MSP (Mathematical Sciences Publishers) se centra en el desarrollo de software para la publicaciĂ³n, y en la asistencia y creaciĂ³n de publicaciones de investigaciĂ³n cientĂ­fica de alto nivel. Publican unas 20.000 pĂ¡ginas de investigaciĂ³n al año. Es una editorial sin Ă¡nimo de lucro dirigida por acadĂ©micos. Umalca’s journal Orbita Mathematicae publishes its first issue

 

The publication of the first issue of the journal Orbita Mathematicae of Umalca (UniĂ³n MatemĂ¡tica de AmĂ©rica Latina y el Caribe) was announced by Guillermo Cortiñas, academic of the Universidad de Buenos Aires and one of its managing editors.

The journal is open access and is available for download in digital format from the MSP (Mathematical Science Publishers) website. MSP will be in charge of the publication of the journal Orbita Mathematicae, the result of an agreement signed during the year 2022 by the President of Umalca, Prof. Liliana Forzani, and Alex Scorpan, Executive Director of MSP, which becomes effective today with this first issue.

The publication includes this time the following articles: Subspaces fixed by a nilpotent matrix, by Marvin Anas Hahn, Gabriele Nebe, Mima Stanojkovski and Bernd Sturmfels; Pinwheel solutions to Schrödinger systems, by MĂ³nica Clapp and Angela Pistoia; Counting compatible indexing systems for $C_{p^n}$, by Michael A. The Editorial managing committee of the journal is composed of Guillermo Cortiñas (UBA, Argentina), editor in chief, Helena Nussenzveig Lopes (UFRJ, Brazil) and Eduardo SantillĂ¡n Zeron (CINVESTAV, Mexico). There are also 27 associate editors.
