CALL FOR PAPER PROPOSALS

IV International Colloquium on Differential Equations and Applications
November 3-8, 2003 Maracaibo, Venezuela

The IV International Colloquium on Differential Equation and Applications will be held on November 3-8, 2003 at CIED Convention Center, Maracaibo, Venezuela.

The Colloquium is organized by the Research Center on Applied Mathematics (CIMA) of the University of Zulia, the Department of Automatization and Control of the University of Los Andes, and the Research Council of the Eastern University, Cumana. This international multidisciplinary event provides an outstanding opportunity for junior and senior researchers from different areas of the applied mathematics to meet and discuss the state of the art of the theory of Differential Equations, and Dynamical Systems.

On behalf of the Colloquium Technical Program Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to submit abstracts to be considered for the Program.

Papers are sought on a variety of topics including Discrete Dynamical Systems, Control Theory, Stochastic Differential Equations, Nonlinear Optimization Methods, Fluid Mechanics, and Numerical Analysis. The success of the IV Colloquium on Differential Equations and Applications will be largely measured by the quality of the papers presented, which is dependent upon your ideas, experience, and knowledge. The program will also include a course on Semilinear Evolution Equations by Prof. Anibal Rodriguez Bernal from University of Barcelona.

The Program Committee invites you to submit paper proposals covering the topics listed above. The deadline for receipt of paper proposals is April 30th. Notification of acceptance will be given May 30th, 2003. Full manuscripts from the selected abstracts are expected by no later than August 1st 2003. Each paper submitted will be peer reviewed by the Technical and Program Committee.

We thank you in advance for your participation.
